A brand new event promoted through Facebook and Instagram paid advertisements

A brand new event for 2019, Supercar Fest is a supercar themed festival held at one of the world’s most historic motoring venues, Shelsley Walsh, located in the stunning Worcestershire countryside.
We promoted this event using a range of strategies to achieve a massive 2250% ROI in just two months of the campaign.

The Goal
The overall goal for this project was to sell out the event tickets and bring massive awareness of the event and it's future plans.
The Solution

We set about achieving this goal by using a 3 stage strategy.

The first stage was to grow a cold audience and increase overall reach/awareness of the event. So we did some audience split testing using video thru play campaigns that would allow us to re-target people that watched over a certain amount of the video.

Stage 2 was to start re-targeting the people that had watched the video and also people that had visited the website and not yet made a purchase. This started to bring in a ton of sales instantly.

Stage 3 was to create lookalike audiences of the people that had purchased a ticket or visited certain sections of the website and from there we were able to target them multiple times and made sure they purchased a ticket.


This particular goal ran for just one month and ​managed to achieve massive success!

The goal was smashed and a plan was set out instantly to make sure the goal was smashed each and every month running up to the event.

  • 8.8x ROAS (Return on ad spend) on overall ad spend.

  • 22.5x or 2250% ROAS on month ad spend.

  • Over 285K new targeted people reached.

This means that for every £1 spent on advertising, £22.50 was returned. This includes building the audiences and also re targeting!
